Wax paint on canvas, signed 'Johan Dijkstra' (lower right); framed in the original frame (canvas stretched by the artist with upper edge shortened). Canvas sl. wrinkled with occasional craquelure, several tiny unobtrusive paint losses, minor surface grime in places (mainly along the upper edge), overall in good condition.
Provenance: Private collection since 1980s. Notes: Johan Dijkstra was one of the founders and most important painters of the artists expressionist association 'De Ploeg'.
