Note: Sisley, Monet, Renoir, Degas as well as Manet all put their easels on the Île des Impressionistes in the Seine in Chatou. On the island, located west of Paris, the hotel and restaurant Maison Fournaise was located. The restaurant became a favourite spot among the grand Impressionists.
